Meet Founder Kelly Brent

Kelly Brent is a seasoned business owner, civic leader, wife, mother, and grandmother with a career defined by persistence, service, and results. Since founding DocuScript in 1987, she has built the company from the ground up, earning a reputation for operational credibility and meeting the demanding standards of the public sector.

Her business leadership has been widely recognized in the region. In 2022, Kelly was named Business Woman of the Year by the Northern York County Chamber of Commerce, reflecting her entrepreneurship and dedication to documentation excellence.

Beyond the business environment, Kelly has consistently stepped forward to serve her community. She was elected to the West Shore School Board, bringing a disciplined, fiscally responsible, and family-focused approach to educational policy. In 2025, she served as President of the West Shore School Board, guiding crucial public conversations on transparency and academic progress.

Always her top priority, Kelly is married to Geoffrey Brent and is the proud mother of two sons and grandmother of three grandchildren. Her family continues to shape her commitment to community service, education, and paving a strong path for future generations.
